Kiah has worked as a professional makeup artist since 2007. Her clean, flawless, skillful style reflects more of the Northern California area ranging from Los Angeles, San Diego and Austin Texas.
Kiah's passion for makeup arose long before she got started in the beauty industry, doing bridal makeup and special event makeup. She mastered the art of makeup long before she knew it would evolve into a career. Kiah's expertise lies at creating flawless, intricate looks, photographing beautifully and leaves the bride still looking like herself, or the model camera ready, with no to little editing needed. From chic and contemporary to over the top glamorous, Kiah created a clean, breath taking look that is right for each bride on her special day or complying to the look the photographer has asked.
During her career, Kiah has worked in numerous fashion shows, photo shoots, hair shows, dance competitions, wedding's, as well as, hosting makeup events and classes. Her career first started working for Micabella Cosmetics, introducing her to the simplicity of blending loose powder foundations and eye shadows.. Working there for a year lead her to Bare Esccentuals Cosmetics and skincare where her love and skill for makeup blossomed into her opening her own company, Tokyo Lakai Artistry. You can now find her making over and teaching her artistry skills on the bold and beautiful women of Northern California and Austin Texas, and soon the world!

"If i had to describe myself in three words it would be, Passionate, Driven, and loving. Whatever i put my hands on, i am driven to see it manifest into it's fullest potential, whether it be applying makeup, cleaning my home, or loving on my family i see fit for it to prosper and develop with the blessing of God upon me. I put my heart into everything i do, and there is where my love for anything flourishes far beyond even i would imagine. Being a makeup artist was never what i planned on doing, but was definitely a gift heaven sent. Meeting people everyday and them allowing me to enhance whatever beauty they have, lifts my spirits and my soul. I love that i can enhance someones beauty and spirits all in one sitting. I truly enjoy what i do, and making new friends and long time clients is just a plus."
